Thu, December 27, 2007 - 6:30 PMYes! I am a Pisces with not only Moon but Mars in Capricorn. The most noticeable thing about this for me is that I FEEL all the damn TIME but have a hard time expressing the feelings. Especially romantic/erotic/love feelings. And standing up for myself. Of course my parents raised me to be a victim by never encouraging me to stand up for myself. Some have said that I am an "emotional desert" because I'm not constantly emoting about every last thing I see, hear, feel, etc, ad nauseum. This hurts my Pisces feelings. And all the other feelings. I think the Pisces/Cap moon thing is mightily influenced by your other planetary placements & your rising. And all this is something I'm still finding out about, too. Please post anything you find/think of about this, it will be greatly appreciated. -

and i also have a difficult time expressing feelings.
i mean, they show on the face but i can't explain, or communicate it properly to those who need to hear about it...

I have pisces sun, cancer rising & capricorn moon in the 7th.
Lots of water in my chart, so I am a rather emotional girl, but my capricorn moon tends to ignore it most of the time and I have a hard time expressing what I feel. In relationships with other people I like to keep things practical, a bit detached, correct and honest.. Showing emotions in public somewhat seems wrong. Only the people close to me know that I'm a caring and sensitive person.

Thu, January 10, 2008 - 3:07 PMIf capricorn moon people dont show their emotions and if they have pisces as their sun does it mean when they do display them a lot that it is just to get something they want.? or is it just impulse.
i know of one who also has mercury with aquarius.she tends to try to be a master of disguise.
really good at it but i'm a gemini, i will know and it doesn't matter either way.

Fri, January 11, 2008 - 1:54 AMI have read for a few people with Pisces sun and Capricorn moon, and yes you are right that they are very sensitive and feel a whole lot a great deal of the time but often internalise the emotions. I notice the people with this combination when faced with emotional situations may seem aloof, in fact they may detach from people around them, but that does not mean that they dont care. On the contrary they feel even more intensely because they havent found a proper outlet for their emotions. My suggestion if you have friends/ lovers like this is this: tell them you'd be there, and then let them come back to you when they are ready. -

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 6:13 AMYes, great advice. All of what you have said was what I was intuiting. I am a Pisces Sun/Moon with a Virgo rising. I just started dating a Pisces Sun/Cap. Moon. I have never dated my own sign so I am trying to understand the differences as the similarities are obvious. I've noticed that he *shows* me more that he likes me rather than tells me although he does tell at times as well. I'm trying to be patient with the Cap moon and trust that there is emotion and connection there, even if it's not obvious. I also sense that a Cap. moon prefers to build emotional connection with intention and purpose rather than on impulse. He also has Venus in Taurus which I think emphasizes this even more.
Tell me this though, does it scare or offend a Cap moon to be with someone who is more 'naked' about their emotions. I have had Cap. Sun friends that seem to loosen up and laugh a lot when there are around my cooky, Piscean nature. I feel like I 'lighten up their day' so to speak. Could this also be true with the Cap moon? -

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 7:00 PMWell if you are both Pisces suns, I think he will not be offended, although he may be a little slow to warm up due to the Capricorn moon, but it does not mean that you are not impacting him. All of the changes are happening within him, trust me, especially if your moons are in great aspects to the other.
One thing about Pisces suns with Capricorn moons is subtlely, don't expect Leonine or Libran flourish of gestures, loud declarations of love, etc, so be extremely sensitive to his each and every contribution to the relationship. Don't take anything for granted.
Your sensitive Pisces senses will be able to pick up as and when his gesture, gift, or some little thing that he does is a sign that the relationship is taking a litte step forward. He might tell you a little secret that he hasn't told anyone, reveal to you some childhood memories, etc, and your Pisces senses will also know if that gesture is special. And when it happens, trust me, it is as if the door of heaven has opened to you!
Whatever you do don't take anything for granted. Subtlety is key. -

Not taking anything for granted has been my mantra through all of this.
In a way, it's actually been grounding (surprise!) and a bit enjoyable to notice and know how important the subtle things are. It seems to make the kisses and small gestures of affection more meaningful somehow. And the times when he is really fun and playful are even more fun and playful knowing that it is probably not easy for him unless he really feels comfortable with the person. It's difficult for Pisces as we do pick up on subtlty but because we pick up on *so* many things we can really struggle with insecurity as to what is real and what isn't. At those times we really start to doubt if the subtlties actually hold any meaning or if we're just being nuerotic. I have been trying to stay on the Jupitarian side of optimissism with this one and I hope it goes well :) -

I am also dating a Pisces sun Capricorn moon but I'm fortunate that both our moons are conjunct within 2 degrees so I am all the more sensitive to him. He travels fairly frequently and I never expected him to call me as soon as he is in town because I know that he needs to settle down and unpack and rest, etc. In the early part of the relationship he never quite did that and I never demanded it of him, but now he does it voluntarily. In fact he now allows me to pick him up at the airport when I sense that he's wobbling from exhaustion.

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 4:08 PMI'm a virgo with a pisces moon and he's a pisces with a capricorn moon. Oh my god! show some emotion already!!.... I should probably say my venus is in leo, his venus is in aquarius. It's been almost a year and ONLY now, am I seeing a teeny bit of how he feels. It's true, he shows it in very subtle ways - small, but he wants to show you that "he's never done this or said this before".... they take a long long time.

So, it is doubled.
I also have Mercury in the 12th making communicating my emotions even more difficult.
When I try to tell someone how I feel I usually feel like there is a wall I can't get past. So, I try to be affectionate or do little things for people rather than talking about my emotions.

Sun, April 6, 2008 - 10:46 AMDamn, pretty cool to see replicas of me in a way, well I'm Sun Pisces/Moon Capr so yeah I relate to the inhibited emotions of capricorn, but with Leo rising and Mercury Aries, I feel pretty confident and outspoken. But them some Mars and Venus in Pisces makes me kind of a hopeless romantic who listens to phil collins all day lol, so it's an odd mix to say the least...and Mars in Sagg makes me a complete goofball and not wanting to sit still -

I'm new to the board! :-) Just wanted to join in the discussion though...with my fellow Pisces Suns/Cap Moons. I am one too...it's nice to find others. I am a Pisces sun in the 10th house *rolls eyes* and a Cap. Moon in the 8th house *another eye roll* with Cancer rising. I am VERY emotional...BIG TIME...but NO ONE would know...EVER. I hide it well. I keep my emotions firmly in check...in fact, too much in check, and it's very difficult because sometimes I WISH I could just be more expressive or share things, but I don't trust others too easily, and I have a hard time showing my emotional self because I often feel that shows a level of weakness (even though I know that is illogical and not true at all!!!). But there is this part of me that feels like I must always appear "in control."
I hate it when I read that Cap moons are "insensitive" or "unemotional" because I think that's horribly inaccurate. I think it's that we feel things DEEPLY - perhaps even more so than other moon signs - we just take emotions SERIOUSLY and that is why we aren't apt to just let it all hang out. Caps are serious folks after all. :-) But we can be hilarious too...I like to think my crazy sense of humor comes from my Cap moon.
Anyway - so that's just my feeling about things - and nice to meet everyone! :-)
