I identify fairly strongly with my capricorn moon, though I always try to play up the good qualities it brings me like stability, groundedness, practicality, earthiness, long-term thinking, discretion. As a pisces with cancer/leo rising I have no trouble expressing my emotions when I need to, but, then again... my definition of "when I need to" may be different from that of other people...! (yes, I can be reserved at times)
Anyway... for some reason the "earthiness" aspect of capricorn captured my imagination recently... my piscean intuition suddenly saw a picture of a beautiful southwestern desert scene at my emotional core... I imagined that that beautiful earthiness is the nature of my moon... tying in with the 'longevity' aspect of capricorn in its geological time scale... tying in with the goat-like horniness of capricorn out of awareness that sexuality is as vital an earth-energy as those forces shaping the earth, the moon, & the entire cosmos...
Has anyone else out there had a similar intuition?
I say let's celebrate the capricorn moon as a beautiful thing in this world :)

Okay, good things. Stability and very strong organizational skills. Great job performance, even if it's a job where we're unhappy.
And a healthy, strong libido doesn't suck =P
And there may be the disadvantage of being extremely stubborn and unrelenting, but on the positive side we also think before reacting to serious situations.

Thu, January 15, 2009 - 3:59 AMCapricorn moon can be damn sexy. I think Capricorn is one of the most misunderstood signs, but we've got a fierce loyalty and a mostly solid, reliable reputation. A friend once told my mom that he appreciated me for my "real-ness." It may take someone a little more time to reach where we are on the mountain, but we'll always lend a hand to help them up. -

Steadfast, devoted, humble, traditional, luke warm, appreciation of the past & history, fond of form and structure, organized, dependable, ambitious....just to name a few. Plenty of notable positive traits associated with this placement -

Fri, January 23, 2009 - 7:02 AMA question concerning Capricorn Moon with Scorpio Sun, Venus Virgo, Mars Capricorn (don't know Rising) -- with this kind of combination, this person finds it very difficult to NOT be serious all the time. There is a constant control thing going on and finding this person's 'light & breezy' side is close to impossible. Very easy for this person to reach boiling point fast and stay in it for days.
What's causing this? I always thought it was Capricorn Moon playing major role here. Anyone know more about this combo? Could really use some understanding about this person. Thanks!! -

Fri, January 23, 2009 - 10:19 PMHm Ann. Could be a combination of things. I would look more into the transits that this individual is facing at the moment; or has this went on for years? Scorpio suns are known to be secretive/brooding/controlling...Cap moons have trouble showing emotion freely...i.e. playing Mr. Serious all the time, as well as having a need to control...and throw in the venus in virgo, which inclines one to be some what critical/judgemental....It's hard to say, but these are some of the negative manifestations of these placements, generalized...
Mars in Capricorn is exalted, but probably further enforces the desire to be in control, maintain authority...Some people are meant to be serious, I suppose...Some of the capricorns I know have trouble letting that gaurd down but for very select people. Often why they're inclined to tradition....The family becomes the backbone of the personality, and the very people that accept Cappy, even in his worst light...Seldom will a Cap settle for less, even if it means lonliness...

I have only known this person for five years and it's always the same. I agree with everything you said. It does ring true. As a Leo/Virgo and LOTS of Libra, I wish I could make this person happy. I just don't know how. The guard/walls are so very high, that there's no possible way to get in. Too bad.

I have no controll over it! I have to believe it! I have a good friend who is totally my opposite sun,moon,venus, mars, mercury. It´s in the stars. He is as unsexy as they get (though more diplomatic and niceguyish and has a beautiful soul. you have to love him). can it really be the stars that makes me exude sexuality and confidence everywhere I go? hey, it´s not me - it´s the stars. I cant help it. blame my parents.
okey, so on a more serious side, I think the movie "the secret" works wonders in building confidence. Your thoughts become your beliefs, and your beliefs become reality. go look at your right eye about three inches from a big mirror for 15 minutes every day and say what you want to become reality. If you have issues with guilt and accepting yourself or something you did, say - its okey. it´s okey to let go of the past. do this over and over for 15 minutes every day. at first your body will fight you, but over a coupple of weeks, you will see differences.
PS - works with building a high self esteem too and making you feel great about youself. If you have low selfesteem say something like: I love myself. I look good. I am a sexy motherfucker. Beautiful women love me everywhere I go (or hot guys if thats what you like).
Possibilities are endless. It works with every aerea of your life. tell yourself what is bothering you, and state the opposite as if it were true. Be consistent. Do it for 30 days, and if you see a slight difference then what do you think will happend when it builds momentum over a period of a coupple of months? Or more??
