My sidereal and vedic charts say I have moon in capricorn, it mkaes lots of sense for me. I was quite a serious youngster. And I have great love of rocks and minerals, earth energy and ambition to business.:)

Tue, June 5, 2007 - 1:01 AMI keep finding that tropical and sidereal charts are complementary: the things that make sense in one or in the other in a different placement, giving the same theme but with a different flavor. Is there anything in Capricorn in your tropical chart?
My sidereal chart says I have my moon in Sagittarius, and the only thing of note in Capricorn is my 10th house cusp.
When I happened upon a Sidereal astrologer at a cafe last year who interpreted my sidereal astrology for me, having a Sagitarrius moon felt far more true for me that a Capricorn moon. However, I also was a serious child, have a great love of rocks and crystals, and am business oriented (in the self employment/entreprenuerial way). Not that I'm lacking earth in my sidereal chart, oh no...not with a Taurus rising & Mars and Mercury and Pluto in Virgo. -

I think for me the tropical venus & mars in aries always seemed so wrong, for Iv never liked competitive sports and lovers have been alot softer gentler types, fells much more pisces to me. No capp stuff previously but now moon. my numerology is an 8 tho which is saturns number.:) -

3. click on "extended chart selection" under Horoscope Chart Drawings on the Free Horoscopes page
4. On the Extended Chart Selection page, under the Options section, choose "WARNING: Hindu/Lahiri geocentric (sidereal)" from the zodiac pull down chart options
5. click on "click here to show the chart"
6. tell us what it says! -

Mon, August 27, 2007 - 1:57 PMOh Wow, It's a completely different chart set up. Instead of being a Libra sun, Cap moon, LibrA ASC....I'm a Virgo Sun, Sag Moon, Virgo Asc. Mars same in Sagittarius, Venus in libra instead of Scorpio, Pluto and saturn in libra instead of scorpio, and Jupiter in Sag instead of Capricorn....Anyone have any extra information on these two types of charts? I like the Sidereal one better I must say! -

I like my Sidereal chart better too! I'm Virgo Sun, Cap Moon, Gemini rising conjunct Mars in Gemini in my Tropical chart. in my Sidereal chart I'm Leo Sun, Sag Moon, Taurus rising conjunct Mars in Taurus.
You can get two kinds of interpretations. You can basically read your chart as if it is a Tropical chart and glean some information that way. Or you can find information about on Vedic astrology. As far as I can tell, Vedic and Sidereal astrology are the same methodology: western sidereal is similiar to western tropica; Vedic has (1) different (Sanskrit? Hindi?) names for the planets and signs (ie: South & north nodes are called Rahu & Ketu, etc) and (2) interpretes and gives wieght to some of those signs differently.

Fri, January 25, 2008 - 4:17 AMI might have sidereal cappy moon, but it's in my 5th house so a bit more fun orientated. I do have saturn in my first house conjunct the cusp of the second. I like Capricorn as a sign, it's seriousness, & heavyness, & I do wear black alot. I hope saturn return will be good, my saturn is in scorpio/ sideral Libra. It's conjunct Pluto, & my part of fortune.

Sat, February 9, 2008 - 6:39 PMGreetings all. Just recently joined this tribe. Surprise---had been too busy to look for it. = )Guess I am doomed---my moon is in Cap (10th house) in both charts.
I also have always collected rocks. I still can't pass interesting ones without picking them up. Didn't realize this is a Cap moon thing!
