It depends on whether the moons are conjunct. The orb has a big part to play in it. I am living with a boyfriend whose moon is conjunct with mine in Capricorn. We are very much in love with each other but we also feel secure with each other. We moved in together after a long and well-thought out decision.

Perhaps you have to check out the moon's aspects to other planets. Negative aspects to Pluto and Saturn and/or Venus and Mars can make opening up difficult.

Conjunction of the two moons is very important. If they are both Capricorn moons but they are very far apart degree-wise, opening up can be difficult; in this case there are no aspects formed between the two moons. However the moon also indicates the most basic way that people communicate, intuitively and emotionally. Ultimately it's all about how you FEEL around each other.

Feelings is still feelings, repressed or not. The fact that Capricorn moons have problems opening up, can be a problem, but I don't think they will be repulsed by eachother, if the synastry is great elsewhere.

Anyway, I don't really think that moon conjunctions equals good synastry in any sign. At best, it can be a common ground if they have alot of squares going on elsewhere. The same planet in the same sign can feel kind of bland and predictable, but it's also a non-threatening connection, where there is close to no misunderstandings. I would consider moon conjunctions to be neutral generally, but very situational.

Of course two Capricorn moons can be attracted to each other.

I know at least one such couple.

I personally went for a Cancer moon partner.
