I'm not a pro astrologer, but have been at this for a very long time. The one thing I have learned is that we are not just one sign -- we are a bunch of signs and things working together (and sometimes NOT! ha!), and that's what makes us who we are -- (well, that and our life experiences, family crap, etc).

Anyway, your chart pretty much describes what you wrote about. No, you do not have classic Gemini traits, but as you said you are lively, witty and quite charming (Gemini traits) when you feel like it. I bet mental stimulation is important to you (Gemini) and you get what you want to get out in written form easier than verbal possibly, but with Cap Moon and Virgo Rising - both are somewhat reserved and cautious, and they will hold that Gemini part of you back a bit and say, "hey, don't just leap into that - take a look around first." And that's okay! The compulsiveness of Gemini is calmed a bit with those two earth signs playing major roles in your life.

Cap Moons are known for their emotional strength as they respond to their emotions in a controlled and responsible way. They would never think to gossip (well, MAYBE if it advances their career in a BIG way, but that's a BIG maybe! HA!-joke here). Their ability to control their emotions gives you the air of authority and sometimes that appears cold to others.

Your Virgo rising is how others see you - that first impression, so to speak. With Virgo in that placement you may apear reserved, shy, and always having something on your mind. In my humble opinion (since I am a Virgo), Virgos never stop thinking. I am forever analyzing everything - something I just do not have control over, I guess. People around you probably think you are very helpful and want to do the job right the first time. You probably have a sharp eye and with Cap Moon, want to get the task done and move on to the next. No wasting time. Simply no time for gossip.

You have a wonderful Taurus Mercury! This allows you to remain steady, thorough, practical (even more so - Cap and Virgo make you very practical too!), and gives you tremendous holding power. You probably have much common sense! With this placement I can understand your need for alone-time. Taurus Mercs do their best when not in the presence of others.

Oh, I should talk about your Venus Cancer .. here's another thing that may be causing you to be somewhat cautious. Venus Cancers are very warm, caring and nurturing with those in their INNER CIRCLE, but extremely cautious with others. It may take people a little while to win you over as a friend, but once they do, you are probably very loyal to them. You tend to guard your personal feelings with this placement. You are not naturally trusting with people so they may have to prove themselves to you first before you let them in. Nothing wrong with that-just a little protective of what you deeply care out. This placement also tends to make you a bit on the sensitive side -- although Cappy Moon will rarely allow you to show this sensitivity! HA! Neither will Virgo Rising! Oh, you mentioned you have 'extremist views sometimes'. Well, just take a look at where your Jupiter is! You have Jupiter Sag and well, ENOUGH SAID! HA! Oh okay, I'll keep talking (HA!) ... Jupiter Sag allows for an abundance of visions and goals in life. You have an expansive world view and have your own set take on what's going on. (Taurus Merc may make you have strong convictions as well!) You will need someone in your life to give you room to dream and philosophize about it. This placement allows you to have a positive outlook which will at time (hopefully) counteract the seriousness of your Cap Moon and your worrying tendencies from Virgo Rising.

One last thing I want to bring up and then I'll leave you alone :) ... You have your Saturn in Libra. Remember what they say about Saturn -- Saturn tends to hinder whatever it touches. Saturn deals with challenges, pressures that you may need to overcome with time. It is the one planet for which benefit requires patience, persistence and self-discipline. Well I have to agree, I'm not as much like my Sun Sign than I am of my Moon sign. you need to look at your 5th house as well however and what planets aspect it if you are curious on how this would show in your own chart..... I'm a Gemini sun sign with Cap moon and Leo rising. I just never mind being alone so much in my own mind and I notice some times actually how other people fare along without another person by their side constantly. It's too great for me too even want to understand. I'm an absolute master Koala on being clingy. and I'm quite moody too. I am jealous quite easily and if my partner is gone for too long I go in to nasty withdrawls. I know this all sound very negative (my short time step-sister taught me most of what I know philosophically) but I say if I don't beat up on my self then who will LOL :) I am a dark person... I really try not to take myself too seriously.
